Lezah Winick is a Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate (MFT-C) specializing in relational health, child development, and life transitions. She earned her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Texas State University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Child Development from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
Lezah has extensive experience working across a broad clinical spectrum, including community social work and support for high-risk youth. She specializes in working with children ages 3–12, first-time parents, and individuals navigating ADHD, general anxiety, and significant life changes. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which she uses to help couples and individuals identify attachment patterns and foster deeper emotional security. Lezah also integrates Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to provide clients with practical, goal-oriented interventions tailored to their unique circumstances.
In her clinical practice, Lezah prioritizes the cultivation of a safe, non-judgmental, and collaborative environment. She believes the therapeutic relationship is the primary vehicle for change and leads with curiosity and empathy to help clients reclaim their self-worth. Furthermore, Lezah is passionate about supporting the sober-curious community, offering a mindful and supportive space for those exploring their relationship with substances and intentional living.
Before relocating to Colorado, Lezah spent several years in Austin, Texas, where she developed a deep appreciation for community-based mental health and the power of human connection. Seeking a more mountain-oriented lifestyle, she moved to the Westminster area to pursue her passions for the outdoors and professional growth within a collaborative clinical setting. Outside of her professional work, Lezah is an avid outdoorswoman who enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and camping. A creative at heart, she spends her personal time practicing fiber arts, specifically embroidery, and enjoys the slow-paced nature of “cozy” gaming. She values the balance of an active lifestyle paired with creative expression, often spending time with her partner and their dogs.
