Transformative Child & Teen Therapy

At Ignite Counseling Colorado, we recognize that adolescence is both a powerful time of growth and a profoundly vulnerable period. Our team brings warmth, experience, and evidence-based care to support children and teens navigating anxiety, OCD, trauma, identity development, and the pressures of growing up in a fast-paced world.

We meet kids where they are—with curiosity, respect, and a commitment to building trust. Whether your child or teen (ages 6-17) is struggling with intrusive thoughts, intense emotions, social disconnection, or school-related stress, we work alongside them to build skills, increase insight, and strengthen their inner resilience.

Is Therapy Right for Your Child or Teen?

Therapy can provide crucial support if your child or teen (aged 6 – 17) is experiencing:

    • Sudden changes in mood, like increased irritability, anger, or sadness.
    • Withdrawing from friends, family, or activities they once enjoyed.
    • A significant drop in grades or loss of interest in school.
    • Overwhelming anxiety, worry, or panic attacks.
    • Difficulty coping with a traumatic event.
    • Expressing feelings of worthlessness or hopelessness.
    • Struggles with self-esteem or body image.
