More About Precious Steele

I’m Precious Steele, a Pre-licensed social worker candidate, a dedicated compassionate open-minded master social worker (SWC) who works with a wide range of individuals from ages 6 and up, with knowledge of a variety of modalities and framework including but not limited to; CBT, DBT, emotional interviewing, trauma-informed care, client-focused models and strength-based focus while providing a welcoming safe environment with the intention to create meaningful, sustainable change through the support that is provides.

While I have a passion for helping others, I focus on expanding my care and gaining knowledge to best support my community. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Ashford University and later earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Capella University. During that time, I had the experience of working with community mental health, addiction, neurodivergence, depression, suicidality, anxiety, and life crisis. I later gained experience working in a psychiatric hospital, expanding my focus to group and individual therapy.

I support individuals and families in navigating anxiety, emotional regulation, life challenges/transitions, suicidality, depression, and neurodivergent differences, to name a few. I provide services both via telehealth and in person at our Longmont location, with a strong emphasis on creating a welcoming environment for my community and on creating meaningful, sustainable change.
