More About Mackenzie Ross

Mackenzie Ross is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Regis University and is completing her Clinical Internship at Ignite under the supervision of Hester Campbell. She brings to the counseling space a deep respect for the complexity of being human, blending warmth, curiosity, and a steady belief in each person’s capacity for growth.

Before entering the counseling field, Mackenzie spent a decade as a creative professional and later expanded her work as a yoga instructor. These experiences shape her grounded, attuned presence and inform her ability to hold space with openness and care.

Mackenzie’s approach is both directive and intuitive. She believes therapy should feel collaborative, grounded, and genuinely human — a space where clients can untangle what feels heavy while also building clarity and momentum toward meaningful change. In session, she helps clients identify patterns, reconnect with their values, and take thoughtful action aligned with the life they want to create. Her work draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based approaches, and somatic awareness.

Outside of counseling, Mackenzie enjoys traveling, photography, pottery, and spending time in nature.
