More About Melissa Paradis

It’s so common to feel like you’ve lost parts of yourself, especially when you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, or major life changes. You might feel stuck, uncertain, or like you’re just trying to keep everything together while struggling inside. I believe therapy should be a space where you don’t have to fix anything or have it all figured out—just a place where you can show up exactly as you are. My goal is to create that kind of space: one where you feel seen, valued, and supported, no matter what you’re going through.

I work with individuals navigating different forms of grief and loss, whether that’s mourning a loved one, processing the end of a relationship, or sitting with the quiet ache of unmet hopes and transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. I draw from person-centered therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment theory, and Brainspotting, a focused brain-body therapy that uses eye positions to access and process deeper emotional material held in the nervous system. Brainspotting can help you move through experiences that feel “stuck” and support healing at a level that talking alone sometimes can’t reach.

Across all modalities, I aim to help you explore how your past experiences shape your present, identify what truly matters to you, and build new, more secure ways of relating, both to yourself and others. I also welcome your feedback, so we can co-create a therapeutic relationship that feels safe, real, and uniquely yours.

Whether you’re ready to meet in person or prefer the comfort of online sessions, I’m here to meet you where you are. You don’t have to go through this alone, and I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your healing journey.
