More About NC Hardy

NC Hardy holds a Licensed Professional Counselor license with the state of Colorado. She received a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adams State University.

She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education at the University of Colorado Boulder, and she comes with thirteen years of experience providing individual and group counseling at the Boulder and Broomfield County Jails.

NC is trained in Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy for OCD and Prolonged Exposure for trauma, as well as undergoing supervision and training to be certified in Addictions Counseling. Her passion for counseling is in coming alongside individuals who are on a journey to discover who they really are, what they care about, what motivates them, what restricts them, and what holds them prisoner.

Theoretical approaches include an integrated application of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, using elements of mindfulness and grounding techniques to achieve regulation of the nervous system.

NC has been married for seventeen years, has four kids and a Golden Retriever. In her free time, she enjoys watching baseball and gymnastics, baking with sourdough, listening to podcasts, and reading (always).
