Fees, Insurance, and Payment Options
We are committed to financial transparency. This page details our session fees, the insurance plans we accept, and our affordable sliding scale options.
Insurance Plans We Accept
To make therapy accessible, we are in-network with a wide range of insurance providers, Medicaid, and Medicare.
Note: Couples counseling is not covered by insurance.

Use the filters to see the therapists who provide the care you need, fit your budget, and match your desired location.
Note: For self-pay, the price of the initial comprehensive assessment (i.e., your first therapy session) is $10 above the listed fee.
Affordable counseling Options
Intern Services and Sliding Scale Options
At Ignite Counseling Colorado, we are dedicated to making mental health services more accessible. Our affordable counseling program connects you with our master’s-level graduate student interns who are in their final phase of education. They receive continuous supervision and specialized training from our experienced Clinical Supervisors. Our interns also accept Cigna, Kaiser, United Healthcare, and Colorado Access & RMHP Medicaid. For Medicaid recipients, services are provided at no cost.
Couples Counseling
Invest in Your Relationship: Couples Therapy is Self-Pay
We believe therapy is a meaningful investment in your relationship and are committed to transparency about costs. Since most insurance plans don’t cover therapy focused on the relationship itself, we offer couples counseling as a private pay service. This ensures the focus remains on your partnership.
We are in-network with several providers for individual therapy and can provide a Superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement for couples counseling, though coverage isn’t guaranteed.

Failure to notify Ignite of your Medicaid status will risk losing your coverage.
Important Notice for Medicare Recipients
Please be aware that, in accordance with federal law, Medicare recipients can only be seen by licensed providers. It is the client’s responsibility to inform Ignite Counseling Colorado if they are a Medicare recipient. Failure to provide this information may result in loss of Medicare coverage for the client and penalties to the practice. Thank you for your cooperation!
Our Policies
Our practice is guided by clear policies regarding payment, cancellations, and privacy to ensure a professional and respectful therapeutic relationship.

Payment is due at the time of service in the form of cash, checks, or major credit cards.
