Couples Therapy @ Ignite

Where connection thrives in a space that honors your uniqueness.

Relationships, like individuals, are living, evolving systems—complex, beautiful, and sometimes messy. At Ignite, we provide a creative space for couples to collaborate, explore, and heal without the pressure to conform to one-size-fits-all solutions. Whether you're navigating tension, recovering from rupture, or simply wanting to deepen your connection, our work together begins with honoring the story you bring.

Why Couples Choose Ignite

We treat the whole system. Our holistic approach considers not only you and your partner, but the broader context—family, identity, culture, stressors, and more—that shapes your dynamic.

  • We take a systemic lens. Relationships don't exist in a vacuum. We work with multiple perspectives at once to understand the patterns that help or hinder closeness.

  • We create safety for softening. Our therapists are trained in specialized couples therapy models designed to help partners lower their defenses, build trust, and reconnect through vulnerability and intimacy.

  • We offer a judgment-free zone. No cookie-cutter advice or rigid expectations—just a grounded, compassionate environment where you and your partner can find your own path forward.

If this speaks to you, we invite you to schedule a free consultation to explore whether couples therapy at Ignite feels like a good fit for your journey.

What to Expect When It Comes to Cost

We believe couples therapy is a meaningful investment in your relationship—and we also understand that navigating insurance can feel confusing and frustrating.

While Ignite Counseling Colorado is in-network with Aetna, Cigna, Medicaid, Kaiser, Tricare West, and UHC, most insurance plans do not cover traditional couples therapy unless one partner is receiving treatment for a diagnosed mental health condition and the sessions focus specifically on their individual care.

Because of this, true couples therapy—focused on the relationship itself rather than one person’s diagnosis—is offered as a private pay service at Ignite.

We’re committed to transparency around cost. Your therapist’s rate for couples sessions will be clearly outlined in your Disclosure Statement, and we’re always happy to answer any questions you may have before getting started. If you'd like, we can provide a Superbill you can submit to your insurance provider to check for any possible out-of-network reimbursement, though coverage is not guaranteed.

We approach this work with care, clarity, and ethics—and we’re here to make sure you feel informed every step of the way.

If you're curious whether this approach is right for you and your partner, we invite you to schedule a free consultation to explore your options together.
