After exploring the Ignite website, you feel ready to contact us. You might be wondering: What’s going to happen after I call? We understand that making this first contact isn’t always easy, and that’s why we wanted to give you a snapshot of what takes place after you reach out to us.
After You Contact Us (by phone, e-mail, or the website)
Someone from Ignite will be in touch with you within 24 hours. The purpose of this communication is to find out how we at Ignite can best serve you. We will ask if you plan to use insurance. We accept certain regions’ Medicaid; if you have your Medicaid ID number handy, we can check to ensure we accept that regions’ Medicaid. We will ask you if there is someone specific you’d like to speak with, and we’ll work together to schedule a complimentary phone call with one of our clinicians. We will notify you of our current telehealth services (secure, online video conferencing), and find out what questions you have for us. This communication will be brief (between 5-8 minutes).
At Your Scheduled Phone Call (complimentary; estimated length of call is between 15-30 minutes)
A clinician has been selected especially for you, and will call you at the agreed-upon time. The purpose of this call is to find out your specific goals in seeking treatment, and to give you a chance to get to know your clinician. For example, you can ask about their professional experience, their days of availability, or find out if they’re seeing clients in person. You don’t have to prepare questions if you don’t want to; this is simply an opportunity to give you a chance to hear your counselor’s voice and determine if it seems like a good fit. Before you hang up, the clinician will let you know about Ignite’s electronic forms system, called Simple Practice. This is a secure, confidential way for us to exchange paperwork with you. We’ll give you instructions on how to set up an account, and let you know which forms will require signatures before the first appointment. At the end of this call, your clinician will schedule your first session. If sessions will be conducted on telehealth, you’ll also be given instructions on how to access the Simple Practice telehealth video platform for HIPAA-secure video sessions online.
It’s Time for Your Session
At the agreed-upon appointment time, you will join the Simple Practice call by clicking on a meeting link that will be provided to you. Please make sure you are in a location with a strong Internet connection with privacy. We’re so glad you contacted us.
